Does anyone know a reliable site to buy clove cigarettes from?
Has anyone had any success buying clove cigarettes online, now that they're illegal to sell domestically? Which sites have you ordered from and successfully received the shipment?
I've been told it's _not_ illegal to buy them abroad and import them, provided they're not for resale. If that's not true, please let me know and provide a link somewhere useful that says so. All the information I've seen only makes it seem as though it's illegal to sell domestically, but not to import or possess.

I bought some online and it got seized by U.S. customs here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Its not because the cigs themselves are illegal, but because there is some law about the "U.S. surgeon generals warning" being required on all imported cigarette boxes. This is according to the letter I got from Customs telling me about my seizure/forfiture. I called customs and they said there is NO Way i can get the smokes released and they can either be sent back or they will be destroyed. Either way, all of the online clove websites have a NO REFUND for customs seizure policy. Also, from my experience with www.clovecigaretteshop.com, they really don't care what happens after they have your money and
they have shipped your order because the customs letter I received itemized the package seized as 1 carton of gudang garam when I really ordered and paid for 2. I brought this up to clovecigaretteshop and they just deny it. Nothing I can do really.
I have read that customs on the west coast is much more relaxed than here in Hawaii and you might have a better chance if you live in the U.S. mainland. Either way its a gamble because packages are randomly selected for screening by customs.

P.S.- The letter I got from customs said that the only legal way to import foreign cigarettes for personal use is to travel to the country yourself and bring them back with you (up to 200 count cigarettes.) but, you could get away with 2 cartons easily.
