Need help with an assignment about marijuana?
My Law class is making us write an essay about the legalization of weed. I vote yes, that it should be legalized. It does so much less damage than standard tobacco that's in cigarettes, it gives you a high that only slightly varies from one you get from hookahs, which are also legal. Not to mention, it would become a massive industry, similar to the cigarette industry.
BUT, for the assignment I must show both sides of the argument.
Um.
There's the problem.
I can't think of the reasons why it's illegal.

alright so i am completely pro for this!! now dont listen to people who say its a gate way drug, why? because it has been proven to be a complete and utter lie! in fact it has been known to get people OFF harder drugs as the escape. Now as well as it hurting your lungs, yes a little, but your lungs are able to clean themselves over time because its not chemically enhanced. Its just like breaking in normal candle smoke. No problem use a vape if your that worried. Another there is nothing wrong with it because it has been proven that everything the government has told you about it is also a lie. About how you can die from it, how it kills your brain? um Nope. The only possible way to die from smoking this is if you smoked i think it was like 600 joints in a span of 3 minutes, and the only reason why it'd kill you is because you are suffocating your lungs. Next it does NOT kill brain cells it actually stimulates the growth of them. Now i could keep on going haha. but ill give you a reason as to why it really isnt legal. You really couldnt tax it. because you can grow it anywhere. The other reason as to why its really not legal is because when the Vietnam war was going on most of the people who supported the peace and fought against the war smoked pot. so it was very easy to get rid of all the people who were against it because most smoked! so there for in making it illegal they took away the people. i hope this helps a bit if you really wanna know more and be shocked then watch this documentary called The Union. hope you pass!!
