Cigarette Prices In Oklahoma

What is the logic for only selling low point beer in Oklahoma?
I never understood why Oklahoma, and a few other states won't allow normal beer to be sold cold. This makes any decent beer to be sold warm and at a much higher price. What is the true logic behind this?

Well, the above answer is somewhat correct, low ABV beer means you are probably going to buy more of it.

I guess by having low ABV beer cold, the "logic" is that when someone already drunk goes to buy more they will buy the cold stuff and wind up less intoxicated, which is bunk. If I'm already drunk I'll choose to drink whatever beer I want, whether its 33 degrees or 77 degrees. Also I'll probably try chilling the beer with a fire extinguisher if I feel so inclined.

Ahhh, Mythbusters... But really most issues which are supposedly based on "public interest of safety" are really business driven when it comes down to it.

For example if marijuana was legal, there would be significantly reduced revenue for alcohol companies, cigarette companies, pharmaceutical companies, the cotton industry, wood/paper companies, and cereal grain producers, to name the major players.

Whats a real rip-off is that you pay more for the beer that is warm, usually the mark up is higher on beer that is already cold when purchased, the way it is with soda.

Put those beers in a cooler with ice water and then pour in a fair amount of salt and they'll be perfectly cold in about 5 minutes. Thank you again Mythbusters!

, and pay wasn't all that great. We began looking at apartments for rent and the prices were 650 to 700 a month for a single bedroom! To me ...
