Should the tax on pipe tobacco be raised through the roof?
Many smokers have found a way to cheat the government out of paying the cigarette tax. Some loose tobacco manufacturers have began cutting their cigarette tobacco slightly differently and labeling it pipe tobacco. Smokers can make their own cigarettes for as little as $8 per carton. Should this be addressed so that they will have to pay much more?

'cheat the government"? You have to be kidding. Tobacco taxes are the gov stealing from the people so how can you cheat a thief? The morons in our gov wrote the law defining pipe tobacco. Some smokers were smarter than they were and now that's cheating?
You should be asking why the tax on a cheap $1 cigar is 0.40 and the tax on a $40 cigar is also 0.40.
It don't take long to figure out why the taxes on high dollar cigars is so cheap does it?
