I am a smoker and cough up green phlegm alot through the night. Why is this?
I mostly make my own cigarettes and use the pipe tobacco more than regular cigarette tobacco. Could the pipe tobacco cause the phlegm and coughing? I use that because it is cheaper to buy.

Mixing it both is probably causing this. And it seems as if its clogging your lungs so by coughing its trying to "survive". I would quite smoking all that crap if I were you because its killing your lungs and liver.
